Tools for Teachers
We are the only national organization dedicated to making Canada’s art and artists known to students across the country. Our free bilingual classroom resources bring Canada’s art and artists into schools through curriculum-connected materials for History, Geography, Social Studies, STEM, and more. Created with experts, educators, and cultural advisors, they help students explore the ideas, histories, and perspectives that
connect us.

Canadian Art Inspiration Student Challenge
Students in Grades 7–12 are invited to discover Canadian art through creative expression. Open to schools across the country, this national initiative encourages young people to engage with artists from Canada’s past and present while celebrating imagination, critical thinking, and diverse perspectives. Winning submissions receive cash prizes and are showcased at Art Toronto.
