Jessa Laframboise

Jessa Laframboise is an artist, writer, art historian, and mother of two based in Northern Ontario. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Nipissing University, a Master’s in Art History, and a Graduate Diploma in Curatorial Studies from Carleton University. Her research interests span art education and twentieth-century feminist art and performance in Canada and the United States. With nearly ten years of experience in the visual arts sector, including community spaces, non-profit organizations, and academia, Jessa views her work as a means of connecting with people. She is passionate about making art and art history accessible and amplifying the stories and contributions of marginalized creative voices. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors with her young family.
