John Bianchini

Chair and Chief Executive Officer, Hatch

John Bianchini is chair and CEO of Hatch, only the fourth individual to hold both roles in the company’s seventy-year history. Under his leadership, Hatch has grown to 12,000 employees across more than seventy offices, delivering innovative solutions in metals, energy, and infrastructure. In 2025, John was named Canada’s Most Admired™ CEO (Enterprise) and received an Honorary Doctor of Laws from OCAD University for his contributions to business and the arts. He has also earned the Julian C. Smith Medal and Fellowship in the Engineering Institute of Canada. A passionate arts supporter, John has served on the Royal Ontario Museum Board of Governors and supported the National Gallery of Canada, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, MOCA Toronto, the Toronto Biennial of Art, and the McMichael Canadian Art Collection.
