Laas Turnbull is widely regarded as a thought leader and innovator in the media, content, and technology space. He recently served as CEO and co-founder of Darwin CX, a global technology company that was acquired by a New York private equity group in 2020. Laas currently works with Jaime Watt as Chief Executive Officer at Navigator Ltd., Canada's leading high-stakes communications firm. Among many other things, he has collaborated with TV guru Moses Znaimer and founded The Grid, the world's first true hybrid of a newspaper and a magazine—and the only publication ever to be named World's Best Designed Newspaper three years running by the Society for News Design. Over the years, Laas has served on boards ranging from The Stop Community Food Centre and National Magazine Awards Foundation to Dingo Mobile and Ringbank LLC.
