Climate Change through explorations of Historical and Contemporary Art in Canada
Photographer Edward Burtynsky (b.1955), sculptor Oviloo Tunnillie (1949–2014), and painter Emily Carr (1871–1945) were all inspired by an aspect of the natural world that is at risk due to the changing climate. In this resource guide, exploring these artists’ achievements is the foundation for proposing nature-based solutions to climate change in three creative activities with sustainability and the protection of biodiversity at their core.
