The photography of C.D. (Chow Dong) Hoy (1883–1973) is a beautiful and rich resource for seeing first-hand the people living in and around Quesnel, British Columbia, at the start of the twentieth century. Using this wealth of photographic documentation, students will explore the history and personal stories of people living in this place and time, and through this investigation will build skills in research, analysis of primary sources, and the development of historical narratives.
