Previously unseen works on display for the first time

The Galerie de l’UQAM presents Françoise Sullivan. Trajectoires resplendissantes, an exhibition showcasing the works of Montréal artist and Automatistes member Françoise Sullivan. The exhibit explores Sullivan’s vibrant and versatile oeuvre, including previously unseen works from the artist’s archives. Françoise Sullivan is on display at the Galerie de l’UQAM from January 11 to February 18, 2017. Learn more about the exhibit here.
Best known as a pioneering figure of modern dance and one of the signatories of Paul-Émile Borduas’s 1948 manifesto Refus global (Total Refusal), Sullivan produced an extensive body of performances, installations, photographs, sculptures, and paintings.
